‍A Home Makeover for a Hero
Meet Sean Reeves, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran from King, North Carolina, who embodies devotion, courage, and resilience. After enlisting shortly after high school in response to the events of 9/11, Sean served as an infantry rifleman with the First Battalion, Second Marines. While deployed to Afghanistan, he survived an IED blast, sustained a traumatic brain injury, and endured multiple gunshot wounds. For his bravery, Sean was awarded the Purple Heart and numerous other honors.

After medically retiring, Sean dedicated his life to helping other veterans through his work at Veterans Bridge Home. Alongside his partner, Marilyn Cecilia Williams—a devoted supporter and healthcare tech professional—they continue to face life’s challenges with strength and unity. Through Military Makeover with Montel, the Reeves family received a full home transformation, celebrating not only their sacrifices but also the enduring spirit of the military community.
